Plan of Salvation

Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.
“For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Matthew 7:13-14

Are You Prepared To Die
Are You Prepared To Die?

The question is not, are you ready to die, for no one really wants to die if he or she is in their right mind. But the question is. "If you died today, are you prepared?"

This is a question that every human being must answer sooner or later. For you see the Bible says, "It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement."

Death is an inevitable fact of life. Are you, right now, prepared to die? This little pamphlet has been written to help you make this preparation. Follow this information step by step and you will come to know the joy of being prepared to meet your Maker in death.

First, You Must Realize That You Are A Lost Sinner.
A. Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
B. Eccles. 7:20 - "For there is not a just man upon the earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not."
C. Isaiah 53:6 - "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all."

Second, You Must Realize Sin Has A Penalty.
A. Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
B. James 1:15 - "Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."

Third, You Must Realize Sin's Penalty Has To Be Paid.
Hebrews 9:22 - "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without the shedding of blood is not remission (forgiveness)."

Fourth, You Must Realize Sin’s Penalty Was Paid.
A. Romans 5:8 - "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
B. 1 Peter 3:18 - "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.”

Fifth, You Now Must Repent Of Your Sins
A. Il Corinthians 7:10 - "For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death."
B. Isaiah 55:7 - "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon."

Sixth, You Now Need To Receive Christ As Your Personal Savior.
A. John 1:12 - "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."
B. John 3:36 - "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on hìm."
C. John 14:6 - "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Seventh, You Must Call Upon Jesus To Save You Right Now.
A.Romans 10:9-10 - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
B.Romans 10:13-“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

A Brief Summary
Friend, God loves and wants you to be prepared to die. In brief, here again is what you must do:
1. Admit you are lost and need to be saved.
2. Be willing to repent, or turn from your sin.
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross.
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus to come in and control your life. (Receive Him as Savior and Lord.)

What To Pray:
"Dear Father, I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died for my sins. I am willing to turn from my sin. I now invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior. I am willing, by God's grace and help, to follow and obey Christ as the Lord of my life as long as I shall live. Amen."
